Zoom Troubleshooting
Recovery steps for common Zoom integration issues.
Last updated: March 19, 2026
Use this guide when the Scholardemia Zoom integration fails to connect, stops generating links, or behaves unexpectedly after a disconnect or token refresh.
Connection fails during authorization
- Return to Settings → Connected.
- Start the Zoom connection again and complete the OAuth prompt in the same browser session.
- Make sure you approved the Scholardemia app in Zoom instead of closing the authorization screen.
- If Zoom shows an authorization error, remove the app in Zoom Marketplace and reconnect it from Scholardemia.
Zoom says the app is connected, but no meeting link is created
- Disconnect Zoom from Scholardemia.
- Reconnect Zoom from Settings → Connected.
- Retry the flow from the calendar event, event administration screen, or meeting scheduler.
- Confirm the event has a valid title, start time, and end time before generating the link.
You removed the app on Zoom before disconnecting it in Scholardemia
This can leave Scholardemia with stale Zoom credentials. Disconnect Zoom in Scholardemia, then reconnect it so the app stores a fresh token set.
A previously created meeting still appears after disconnecting
That is expected. Disconnecting the integration stops future provisioning but does not automatically delete existing Zoom meetings or remove links already saved inside older event records or messages.
