Desk screening
Editors conduct an initial screening for scope fit, methodological rigor, and ethical compliance before peer review.

External review
Each submission is reviewed by two independent reviewers.

Decision
Editors issue a decision and outline revision guidance when applicable.

Appeals
Authors may appeal decisions within 30 days with a clear, evidence-based rationale reviewed by a senior editor.
Decision outcomes
- Accept.
- Minor Revision.
- Major Revision.
- Reject.
Confidentiality and ethics
- Manuscripts and review content are confidential and may not be shared externally.
- Reviewers must disclose conflicts of interest before accepting assignments.
- Editors reassign reviews when conflicts or ethical concerns are identified.
